We publish a number of client libraries to make interacting with Google Data APIs easier.

However, you're always welcome to use lower-level tools to work with our services, and it's pretty easy to do with a little guidance.

For the purposes of testing using c URL, Client Login is the easier method and is documented below.

curl --silent --header "Authorization: Google Login auth=EUBBIac AAADK\ -k Nxv RVmc Qghpt3cq SMf Eoo LNMfl LNIQqwg P9Or ZS83gs-KSd TNe Xhxs\ ET7FYe PWma D8Vsy1V4LSUGMUP48Je2TO8Ocj Bj6Hg At Phi Ze X-g KDfag\ ZDK44j4n-Tkb44nh Onp2_QPSn Bj3Z2v Yw OEDjj G3Q53a QVC2132JKOu Gh" \ " There are some decent tools for formatting this output to make it more human-readable, including tidy.

Warning: This page is about Google's older APIs, the Google Data APIs; it's relevant only to the APIs that are listed in the Google Data APIs directory, many of which have been replaced with newer APIs.

For information about a specific new API, see the new API's documentation.

An authentication request for Client Login takes a username, password, and service name as form post variables.

These variables are passed as the curl https:// Login \ --data-urlencode [email protected] Passwd=new foundland \ -d account Type=GOOGLE \ -d source=Google-c URL-Example \ -d service=lh2SID=DQAAAHYBADCv2p Sv7nflac DNwz3z EDUGtr Sv NVDcpk Sfddi77b3U5s Ea Hm P8YLWhm A36F9rk85m L8J5dqo4apn0T1v Kz0f PGI9Xtnuet6cu E2Zz Yvr NIwb SC_Hj Tq F4zud NQnnl Du D2wq ZT-g1q XI8Kh GAQZV4Nex HZo QPlab Ts Gu RZe IBxj1A LSID=EUBBBIa BADCl-k Nxv RVmc Qghpt3cq SMf Eoo KR9fl LOUZqwg P9Or ZS83gse-KSd TNe Xhxs ET7FYen Dhce P9l IPOmes H-t9qh-AWUHjj Md ZEb UNe F9m Wyzln6Z-Fajai G-c VFkq W0ZJ8Zbn CP30x Xj6x FK6Qxa Acqy_9Pej8jh Enx S9E61ft QGPg Auth=EUBBIac AAADK-k Nxv RVmc Qghpt3cq SMf Eoo LNMfl LNIQqwg P9Or ZS83gs-KSd TNe Xhxs ET7FYe PWma D8Vsy1V4LSUGMUP48Je2TO8Ocj Bj6Hg At Phi Ze X-g KDfag ZDK44j4n-Tkb44nh Onp2_QPSn Bj3Z2v Yw OEDjj G3Q53a QVC2132JKOu Gh Please see the Client Login documentation for specific information on the parameters used in the above request.c URL is commonly available on a default install of many UNIX/Linux platforms.Try typing library, which may be offered as a separate download package, so, if you're not compiling from the source, be sure to download a 'binary' package instead of a 'libcurl' package.Client Login is intended for installed (desktop/mobile) applications.
